The BBC weather app. Enter your location and get an hour by hour guide to the weather wherever you might be. Can I stress the word guide? I won't be held responsible for anyone having to shovel six inches of 'rather cloudy' off your driveway!

I like that they can't get the present weather correct, let alone the rest of the day!

I know it's not perfect, but weather prediction is much better than it used to be. You more or less can rely on the general 'is it going to rain' overview these days?

PS are you in Honfleur then? How nice!

Sadly, no. I was there in October and certainly want to return, it was so pretty. Which is why I retained the search on my device. I thought it better illustrated the potential of the app to select a location other than a UK one.

I always look up the weather before I go. and my parents have this as there internet homepage so whenever they go online the weather page comes up

Yes, hubby uses this one... so I don't bother downloading it - can only save 10 locations at a time.

I love this app too although I agree that it does not always get it right but sometimes it is incredibly accurate. I use this in combination with the Traffic Cameras app where I can get a birds eye view of conditions.

I am sure the the BBC Weather app has changed recently - it seems you can now only have 1 place saved (I am using the Andriod version) but I am sure when I had the iPhone version I have half a dozen towns and cities stored in it.

I use it on my iPad and you can certainly save more than one location. I have just three saved currently so I'm not using it to capacity as I think you can save ten. But saving just one place sounds very restricting. I doubt I would have recommended the app on that basis. Maybe it is different on an Android device? Seems a bit silly if it is.

I agree this is on my phone too!
